DORCY LED LIGHT BAD CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Recently I purchased Dorcy LED Flashlight in final clearance and came to know that its not working. I immediately called DORCY Customer service. They asked me to send the flashlight picture which I sent them. Here is the picture:
Instead of offering me the new flashlight or alternate (Flashlight was in one year manufacturing warranty) they clearly refused to entertain me and replied:
"you bought it as a final clearance and the light is discontinued. We do not have any stock to give you, sorry but there is nothing we can even substitute." Thank-you Christine Tina Price Office Manager Dorcy Canada LTD 1-866-859-2295 Fax 1-905-319-2738 tina@dorcy.com
So I encourage everyone who wants to buy a good flashlight backed by the best customer service not to buy this DORCY brand instead invest in good company like Leatherman's Ledlenser, Fenix or Petzl. There should be more good companies you can try. But this will be my first and last Dorcy LED Flashlight.Dorcy customer service sucks.

Too much Traffic Tickets from Calgary Police and Speed Cameras. I'm Fed up.

Calgary was used to be the best place to live and enjoy your life. But Calgary Police along with speed Cameras made your life difficult. Even you pay so much attention and obeys the all the rules of Traffic you get caught by the Camera and have to pay the hefty fines.

It could be done by the person ahead of you driving too slow or the slippery snow not cleaned by city crew crying always of low budget and clearing major roads first and then amber light goes red and then smile "You are on Red Light Camera".

Calgary police should cut the police force as earlier was proposed by Naheed Nenshi as there are two many officers hired from foreign country that are only doing traffic duties besides the speed cameras adding burden to Calgarian hard earned tax money.

Crime rate is very low in Calgary and watching police in each corner of the city doesn't make any sense.

I never have any ticket in my more than 22 years of driving but yesterday I was crossing intersection when the light was amber I reached in the middle of the intersection it goes red and the police was exactly behind me and pulled me over."Failing to stop red light at intersection 54(1). I requested them it was close and if he can pardon me. Officer replied me that don't bribe me. I told him its only a request but he gave me a ticket Close to $300.

Whenever I drive in the speed limits in Calgary I considered my self a stupid person as always person behind me drive bumper to bumper bullying me to drive faster even in construction zone. Its true no one follow Speed limits in Calgary.

I don't know if I can wait to go to the crown and request to pay less money and lesser demerits. Can I go to the Crown earlier date as mentioned on my ticket?

I'm really depressed and driving in Calgary is itself becoming a big stress at least for me.Don't know about you people and yes if I do mistake I have to pay fine and tickets which I will but do I have to go to the crown and can request that look I crossed in the amber light and it goes red! Does it will effect anything or should I pay right now or go the company to fight my ticket.Or Just admits my mistake and request for mercy as I have clean record.

Please help as this is my first ticket and my friends are very happy and they said they got 4-5 tickets in a year and welcome to their Demerits driving club.

I was in Edmonton for two days visit never saw a single Police Vehicle although there are cameras there too.

Unbelievable offer from Mobilicity

Its unbeleivable a fairly new company like Mobilicity can challenge big 3’s phone companies like Bell, Rogers and Fido and offer a plan for only 40 dollars which included,

1. Unlimited Long Distance to Canada.
2. Unlimited Long Distance to USA.
3. Unlimited picture messaging to US & Canada,
4. Unlimited Global texting/SMS.
5. Unlimited Data plan.
6. Caller ID.
7. Voicemail.
8. Call Waiting, call forwarding & 3 way calling.

You can also get $100 for porting your old cell number from any carrier to mobilicity.

You can trade your old phone (any model as long as it gets ON) for $100 credit in your account. The best thing is they are offering Google Nexus S (Samsung) for $350 with a $150 discount.

Currently unlimited service is available in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Toronto and Ottawa. Although they still needs to put more signal towers to boost their signals but it’s fairly well deal. The GPS can tell you the block roads or traffic jams, you can video chat using yahoo, MSN Live or Skype anywhere in the zone limits. You can check weather or browse internet. Car charger is recommended for the phone.
Out of zone cost you Canadian Roaming Charges which can be taken from Wallet. You will not be able to use roaming if you don’t have any money in your wallet.

Give it a try for 7 days without obligation and no contract. You can return it with all money back in your account if you don’t like the service. Good luck! And I’m sure the Bell, Rogers and Fido should think about reducing their sky rocketing prices.

Samsung Surpasses Apple as World's Top Smartphone Seller

There was a time when nobody can compete with Nokia. Nokia was No. one supplier of cell phones. Then came Apple who surpasses Nokia and became the No. 1 supplier of the smart phones. Now the latest news is Samsung surpassed Apple by quadrupling its smartphone shipments. we heard the repost that Samsung 27.8 million smartphones this past quarter which is 23.8% market shares of the market.

Apple sold 17.1 million smartphones total of 14.6% of the market shares.Although profit margin of Apple is still higher than Samsung. I don't know which specific smartphone is sold by Samsung in bulk or it was Samsung Galaxy S II which was released in February 2011. But this biggest thing which I can think of boosting the sale of Samsung is Google Android Smartphone Software.

There is still battle going on between Apple and Samsung on patents. Nokia is also introducing Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710 with Windows Mobile platform. So we will see the symbian software off the screen in future.
